Final Post (the one from my cell phone did not work earlier)

Long story short - we got BITCH SLAPPED by Knoxville.   Our bats were asleep. We also made 4 errors.  and we lost 11-1.    (Run Ruled)

Still - we had a great time this weekend.

we play the knoxville cyclones not the austin shady ladies.   knoxville came in second in the world series last year so should be a tough battle...

Good news.  Brett does not have a broken bone.  he is going to try to play with a sore wrist.

a blessing is that it is 10 to 15 degrees cooler today than it was yesterday.  only 85 degrees as we approach noon which is down right cool for atlanta.

austin shady ladies, here we come!

Game 2 double elim, we lost by 5

We scored 4 runs and had the based loaded with no outs in the top of the first inning...and we only managed to get 5.  Fort lauderdale got 4 back right away.   

we ended up losing by 4...something like 13-9.

Shame in foRt lauderdale for using obviously shaved (illegal) bats.  the y hurt our pitcher (he is ok), the may have broken a bone on our second basemans hand....and I have a huge welt in my leg.  

Fucking cheaters...

I'm too hot and tired to recap much.  We were plus 2 in past inning. Scored 3 (big hit by rookie todd to bring in 2 runs with 2 outs. And them Emerson brought in one more. Not bad for 10 and 11 in your order!

they got 3, but left two men on as Levi made a sick catch in center field to win the game!

We got seeded number 5.  We are Playing the 4 seed ambush...which is the team we tied in round robin in game 1.
